Technical Description:

ZB72V-0002 is an intelligent BMS protection board designed for 8–20S (72V) light electric vehicle applications. It supports both LiFePO₄ and NMC lithium battery chemistries, providing reliable battery management and protection solutions for various mobility applications.

The BMS features active voltage balancing technology, which monitors individual cell voltage and battery status in real time, improving battery utilization efficiency and extending battery service life. Based on current-time integration algorithms, it accurately calculates SOC/SOH to provide precise battery condition information.

For multi-parameter monitoring and protection, ZB72V-0002 supports individual cell and total voltage over-voltage/under-voltage protection and alarms, charging and discharging over-current detection and warning, and multi-point temperature monitoring with 3 cell temperature channels, 1 MOSFET temperature channel, and 1 ambient temperature channel. In case of positive and negative terminal short circuits, the system immediately disconnects the power output and triggers an alarm to ensure battery safety.

With intelligent cloud management capability, the BMS supports digital battery management, real-time data storage, backend monitoring, and remote OTA firmware upgrades, enabling efficient battery operation and maintenance.

ZB72V-0002 supports an active balancing current of 2A and a continuous current of up to 150A. It features RS485 + CAN/4G communication interfaces with built-in cloud platform support. The mainboard dimensions are 210.0 × 105.0 × 26.0 mm.

Unlike ZB72V-0001, which is designed for residential and small commercial energy storage systems, ZB72V-0002 focuses on light electric vehicle applications. It is widely used in electric two-wheelers, electric three-wheelers, low-speed four-wheel vehicles, electric flatbed carts, cleaning vehicles, sightseeing vehicles, and other light mobility equipment.
